KASH 3

The files README and CHANGES contain general information about KASH and a list of changes from previous versions. KASH3 is available for Linux/x86, MacOSX, and MS Windows: Take a look at the Introduction to KASH3 to get started. KASH 3 has built-in functions to access the QaoS databases of number fields and transitive groups. In order to make use of this functionality you must have curl installed and configured properly.

The database functions and a package for elliptic curves are also available separately:

KASH 2.5

In order to install KASH on UNIX like operating systems you need to download the file kash_2.5.?.common.tar.gz, which among other things contains the KASH library and the documentation, and one of the architecture specific files kash_2.5.?.***.tar.gz.

This version has been ported to the following architectures:

KASH 2.2

KASH 2.2 has been ported to the following architectures:

For all of the above versions you'll have to get TWO files, Kash_2.2.***.tar.gz (for the binary) and Kash_2.2.common.tar.gz (containing the library, documentation, ...) All files needed for the DOS/ OS/2/ Windows version are located in a subdirectory Kash_2.2.OS2_DOS_Windows. You can pick up the releases of KASH using ftp at ftp.math.tu-berlin.de/pub/algebra/Kant or ftp.zib.de/pub/Packages/Kant/Kash. You can find the Linux version on sunsite.unc.edu and on all sunsite-mirrors.
